This is a special post. Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House was released by Disneyland records in 1964 and re-released in a different sleeve in the 1970's. Many bloggers have posted this before. Most people have probably heard sounds from this record at on time or another from the catfight sounds to the howling shriek taken from the classic "Lonesome Ghosts". Some claim to be too timid to sit through the opening track "The Haunted House" with it's thunder and screams. This presentation is a manipulation of the cover I edited with photo software to make the lightning glow and window shine.
I grew up with this album. Listened to it endlessly, used it for background SFX when us kids would put on haunted houses, and just loved it to death (along with Alfred Hitchcock's Ghost Stories for Yong people)!
