Videogame Showcase: Randy Savage

This version was created on "WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain" in 2004.  I used pictures from my brother's wrestling magazines for reference.  This costume is a variation of Randy's "Macho King" persona from 1989 to 1991

Rollercoaster Tycoon Showcase: The Black Cauldron attraction

Welcome to another RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 post. I have many screencaps from my RCT 2 Magic Kingdom sims. Today's post is a ride that was planned but never built. ( I just found that out in October). But this was done before I read about it on the web. This screenshot is my version of "The Black Cauldron" inside and out. Though my facade could use work. :) I would guess this ride would be effects heavy with projections and other illusions. The Disney version of "The Black Cauldron" was based on "The Chronicles of Prydain" by Lloyd Alexander. More info on the books can be found on this Wikipedia entry. Other never built rides and attractions can be found here.

(RollerCoasterTycoon is Atari, Magic Kingdom is Disney)

Videogame Showcase: Swing your arms from side to side...

According to Kotaku.com, today is the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros being released in Japan. http://kotaku.com/5636283/happy-25th-birthday-super-mario-bros
Another blog covering it is http://victorypellet.blogspot.com/ . Other sites are probably covering this commemoration. I just can't think of anything to type. This game was frustrating.
UPDATE: upon further review , my post title shoulda been " Thank you Mario, but this blog post is in another castle"

Rollercoaster Tycoon Showcase: Magic Mirror on The Wall...

You must forgive me for not posting as of late, because of technical difficulties. But on to the exhibition, I sure do like creating Disney park rides on my RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. And while I'm contemplating about starting a blog or an online photo album of my creations I would like to present an under rated ride in my opinion, my version of "Snow White's Scary Adventure".

Here is my version of the old FantasyLand exterior that was done like an old faire.
And here's the interior. ( I take the inside seriously) with walls.

And the remodeled exterior (maybe that was an older refurbishment.)

And here is the current exterior done as an old walled European village.
("Snow White's Scary Adventure" and "Rollercoaster Tycoon 2" are Disney and Atari)

Videogame Showcase: Batman Handheld games

In this exhibit, I would like to present a couple of Batman handheld games by Tiger Electronics.

Now Tiger Electronics made handheld games in the late 1980's and the 1990's. I am unsure if they make games any more.

Now the two games are based off of the the two movies : Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). I also have Batman games for the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo, and I will post those sometime in the future.

Videogame Showcase: Zoinks!!!

I just found out today is the 40th anniversary of Scooby Doo. " Like wow, man, time to have some Scooby snacks." I used to watch it as a youth and occasionally watch it nowadays.

Here's the Scooby gang as I created them on "The Sims 2: Pets" for Playstation 2

Disclaimer:("Scooby Doo" is Hanna - Barbera/Time Warner, "Sims" is EA, And Playstation 2 is Sony)

Rollercoaster Tycoon Showcase: A Day to Remember

Today is the 54th anniversary of Disneyland, so in the spirit of the signifigance of today on the theme park industry I am going share some of my Magic Kingdom screenshots from my 5th Magic Kingdom sim on RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

This is the castle which greets guests to Fantasyland.

This is the Main Street train Station

I hope you enjoy this exhibition while I search far and wide for the next exhibit of the obscure.
